Paola is the county seat of Miami County located just a
quick 40 minutes south of the Kansas City metropolitan area
on 169 highway. Paola has a population of approximately 5,
100 citizens with a projected increase to 5,500 in five
years. Paola is near enough to Kansas City to enjoy all of
the amenities that a larger city has to offer, and at the
same time our residents and business owners can enjoy a
little slower pace and a sense of community.
Paola’s economy revolves around manufacturing,
distribution, physical and mental health care facilities,
education, banking, business and retail professionals.
