Loralei, a native of Miami County joined the Chamber in September 2011 bringing a wealth of knowledge of Miami County businesses to the position. She claims she's never met a plant (or piece of chocolate) that she didn't like. Loralei spends her free time with her husband Casey and daughter Katelynn. She can't imagine another place on earth where she'd rather live, work and raise a family.
Jaymee Dunne, Event Coordinator/Marketing
Jaymee joined the Chamber in May 2015. A Paola native, Jaymee has a creative nature and love of the community. She hopes to use these skills to help others learn all the extraordinary attractions and community events that her hometown has to offer.
Jaymee enjoys spending her free time with a camera or good book in hand.
About The Chamber
The Paola Chamber of Commerce has been serving our community since 1920. Since then, we have had multiple addresses, but we currently reside in the newly renovated Visitor Center on the historic downtown square.
Considering modern conveniences and technology, the services that we have provided over the course of 90 years has changed dramatically, but we continue to offer our members many benefits, staying current with updated business resources.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS/AMBASSADORS/VOLUNTEERS
The Paola Chamber of Commerce could not offer the best level of service and events without the help of our Board of Directors and Ambassadors. Each group meets monthly. The role of the Board is to handle policy and procedures. The Ambassadors handle Chamber Public Relations and Membership Development as well as Event Coordination through several committees and subcommittees.
There are also the "Friends of the Chamber". They volunteer at events with registration, clean-up and other essential jobs to ensure that our events are successful.
Volunteers work the front desk of the new Visitors Center located at 6 W. Peoria on the Square. They are happy to answer questions about businesses, organizations and attractions in the community.
All of these groups are invaluable to the Chamber and we appreciate all that they do for our community.
